Breaking! Miyetti Allah disowns reports of impending attack on Southeast

The Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association in the Southeast has pledged their commitment towards greater harmonious coexistence between them and their host states in the Zone.

The Zonal Chairman of the Association, Alhaji Giddado Sadiq disclosed this at the Ramadan Prayers today at Amawbia.

Alhaji Sadiq who was reacting to an online publication attributed to the leadership of the association, saying that the "Southeast will boil any moment from now because of their stubbornness", said they have enjoyed a wonderful sense of accommodation from the governors of the five SouthEast States.

Days ago, the social media was awash with the publication, sparking apprehension among the people over the continued habitation of their areas by herders.

Describing the publication as false and mischievous, Alhaji Sadiq expressed optimism that though there are flashes of momentary conflicts in some locations, the prompt intervention of the authorities has ensured that it does not escalate, reiterating their resolve to pursue the path of peace and conviviality with their hosts.

"While I want to state categorically, my designation as the Chairman, Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria, Southeast Zone and not the leader of Miyetti Allah, It is important to explain that I didn't go to Abuja where the statement was said to have been made by me", he concluded.
